Anoki's Memorial fund has been established for SSRR volunteers and family/friends that are facing financial hardship due to an emergency vet situation/illness for their personal dog.Money will go straight to their vet to offset the cost of veterinary care. Amount will be determined by the amount in the fund and cost of vet bills.

Donations will be determined on a case by case basis. Contact SSRR for more information.

A great man and hero to all of us will be missed. Doug Zimmerman, Colonel, U.S.A. passed away on June 2, 2006 at the age of 51. Colonel Zimmerman was the husband of Renice Zimmerman who founded Southern States Rottweiler Rescue 9 years ago. Southern States Rescued Rottweilers is setting up the Colonel Douglas K. Zimmerman Memorial Fund for Special Needs SSRR Rottweilers as a permanent tribute.
