Hi! My name is Grace, and I am the sweetest little thing! I was found with six other dogs (including three of my siblings and my mom) on Easter morning where someone just dumped all of us. A wonderful woman found all seven of us running on the highway. She called us to her, and luckily, we followed her into her backyard. We were tired of running, hungry, and alone! Thanks to a lady in her diabetic dog group, SSRR was contacted, and we were saved! Our savior's dog diabetic Facebook group raised funds for her to care for all four of us adorable puppies. It was a joint effort, and we feel so lucky!!
Our temporary foster mom spent lots of time holding me and playing with me, so I'm very used to human contact. She tells me I am a sweet, mellow girl who is pretty calm. But I still love to play. Don't you love my sweet face? I'm a charmer. I'm learning all sorts of new things, like how to go potty only outside and how to mind my manners. My new foster mom says I'm a great dog and that I need someone to play with who is my own size. She also says I LOVE squeaky toys and attention. I really hate my crate, though, but I'm working on it. Since I am still a puppy, I will need to learn more and to have someone continue with my training. I had a rough start to life, but now I know the love and care from humans. Won't you give me a forever home by adopting me?
SSRR is extremely protective of all of our rescues, but in particular we strive to be sure that puppies are raised properly to avoid any future behavior problems. Our puppies will only be adopted to a home where they will get plenty of love and attention, as well as exercise and training—everything that is needed for them to develop into a socialized and well-behaved adult.
The adoption donation fee for puppies is $300 and is a tax-deductible donation to SSRR, which is a 501(c)3
