Izzy’s dad’s work and housing situation changed drastically. He started traveling three weeks out of the month and didn’t have family or anyone to keep Izzy. He felt it would be unfair to Izzy to be boarded for long periods of time, so he reached out to SSRR for help.

During her Temperament Test, Izzy was very outgoing and playful. It is recommended that she goes to a very ACTIVE home with a large fenced-in yard. She is full of energy, but she isn’t bouncing off the walls.

We took Izzy into SSRR but placed her in the wrong foster home since the foster was unwilling to take any advice and left her outside for long periods of time. We all know that dogs find things to do when they are bored and left unattended. It is usually not something you want them to do, such as dig under a fence.

From Sunkiva Kennels in Hawthorne, FL, where Izzy is temporarily staying...

"Izzy is a hoot! She is a ball of energy but loves attention. She has had fun playing with my 1 year old Rottie girl. She has not gone potty inside, nor has she chewed her bedding. Although she is fine playing tug of war with my girl with their blankets. She is a relatively quiet girl and have only heard her bark once or twice. She has been a pleasure to take care of and have provided many laughs to us."

Izzy NEEDS a new foster home to go to. The foster should be active, as Izzy is still a puppy. The foster needs to be committed to following SSRR policies and requirements, as well as making Izzy part of the family. If this is you and you are willing and able to open your heart and home to the sweet girl, please let us know ASAP!
