Jazmine came to SSRR in July as an owner surrender through no fault of her own, just a landlord who didn't want Rottweilers in their building.

Jazmine is a very sweet, loving girl. She is attentive and trained in basic commands. She loves to play with her toys and loves, loves, loves to be the center of attention. She is an all around great dog and with additional training and firm boundaries could flourish in most homes.

Jazmine does possess some typical Rottie traits such as being protective of her people. Although she does well in public settings, she does look to her handler for reassurance prior to greeting people in general.

Jazmine does well with laid back male dogs. She will not be adopted to a home with female dogs as she does not always get along with other females. She is large and doesn't understand her size. She can harm smaller dogs, as well as cats very easily though, even just through play. A home with larger laid back male dogs that are closely matched to her size is recommended or her being an only pet is fine as well.

Jazmine can be a "bull in a china shop" and very excitable at times. She doesn't understand her size or power and can easily knock down a small child and cause unintentional harm so it's recommended she be in a home with older, dog savvy children and handlers who can effectively control a nearly 100lb dog physically or with proper handling training and instruction.

Jazmine can be possessive of her food, toys and people as well, so this should be taken into consideration if children or other pets are in the home.

Jazmine is crate trained, leash trained and is great with adhering to basic commands. With good training many of the above mentioned less desirable traits would likely be diminished or become non existent.

Jazmine is definitely the kind of dog who will give you what you give her. She is full of love, happiness and excitement and would love nothing more than to share that and have that returned to her.
