Hi, my name is Ozzie and I've had a pretty rough life up until I became part of the SSRR family. The doctors think I was hit by a car and my owner waited about 6 weeks before surrendering me to the local shelter. The shelter really couldn't help me so it wasn't looking good and then the wonderful SSRR family decided to take me in and help me feel better. I had a dislocated hip and was going to require some major surgery. However, before the surgery could happen I had to get my skin infection cleared up and that took another 3 weeks. By the time I was able to have surgery I had almost learned to live with the pain and walk with my foot turned out. BUT, thanks to many people who loved me enough to donate toward my care I was able to have the hip surgery and go home to my foster. I'm doing great and have resumed full doggie activity. The surgery made such a difference and it was so exciting when I finally got to play with my foster brothers and sisters. I have fit in well and become another member of the pack. They love me here and I love them too, but I would love to find my forever family! My foster mom says I am SUPER sweet and I love lots of attention! I'm smart and learn quickly. I am housebroken and I know how to sit although I don't do it often (my therapist uses it to strengthen my leg so it's not fun anymore). I know to stay and I walk very well on a leash. There are no children in our house now, but I have been around them at the park and they do not bother me. I actually like all the pets and sweet things they say. I am completely food motivated, so if I need to learn something there is definitely a way to get me to do it! If you are looking for a loving, sweet, loyal rotti to call your own I am your guy! Please ask my foster mom questions about me, she loves to talk about me!
