Hi everyone, my name is Onyx and I am a young, happy, playful and handsome Rottweiler!
 
Today is your lucky day because I am in search of my forever home! I would make a wonderful pet and I'll tell you exactly why! I, like most young dogs, am full of energy. We will go on runs and walks together and we'll play in your backyard all day long playing fetch with tennis balls and we'll play with my favorite rope toy! You don't have to go to work, work is for dorks. Instead we'll play and I'll be real cute and goofy! If you ever get tired of playing in the yard we can go inside and you can pet my belly and give me ear scratches, I love being loved on! I'll also play with your kids, we'll run in and out of the house like a couple of ragamuffins! And to top off the play action, me and your kids AND your dogs can play together! We can ALL chase each other and have the time of our lives! Not like you're going to work anyway. I love to play with everyone!
 
I will be kind towards your other animals and we wont argue over food, and I will make sure to potty only outside as long as you promise to not leave me alone for too long. I don't really have any manners yet but will work on obedience training together and if you work hard I promise I will too. I have to admit I may not be the best choice for you if you have a cat, I live with one now and we're in an epic game of hide and seek. I'm the seeker and everyone insists I'm not supposed to chase her if I see her, but isn't that how you play the game?

Step 1:   Please complete the adoption application in full; incomplete applications WILL NOT BE PROCESSED

Step 2:   Our Lead Adoption Coordinator will contact you and confirm your application has been received (please use our Contact Us form if you have not gotten a response within 7 days).

Step 3:   After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator, your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators.  The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process.  

Step 4:   Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application, a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live, discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract.

Step 5:   Once the application process is completed, the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review.
