My name is Graham and I've lived in my foster home for about 3 months now. I have another Rottie sister who lives here and I like her. I wanted to be the dominant dog, but she let me know right away that idea wasn't going to work so I gave up.
My foster mom tells me I'm a very confident fella, because I will look right in your eyes for an extended period of time. I will tell you what I like and don't like, sometimes with a little bark or low grumble - not scary, I'm just talking. I'm very smart and with a strong, patient leader who would train me, I believe I could learn almost anything. I already know basic training like sit, stay, down, off and I can ask to go outside to potty. I've also learned about going into my crate at night and when no one is home. Sometimes I bark at first because I want to be with my people.
I'm okay with sharing my toys and I don't guard my food. I love being outside very, very much and I want a home with a big yard that I can watch over. I need a family who understands I am still very young acting and can meet my energy level.
I came from a small south Texas shelter, owner surrendered along with a male pit bull. I tested positive for heartworms but I'm finishing up my last few weeks of meds right now. Currently I weigh about 78 lbs.
