- This request MUST be filled out by a shelter representative.
- SSRR is a 100% foster based rescue. All of our fosters have dogs of their own, so we must be careful when making decisions regarding intake as to not put either dog in danger. In order to consider the dog you have submitted to us any further, we would require video and/or photos of the dog interacting with other dogs.
- Step 1. Scroll down and fill out the Shelter to Rescue Transfer Request.
- Step 2. We require a complete temperament test be done prior to making a decision regarding intake. Our temperament test form can be found HERE.
- Step 3. Send any vet/shelter records you may have to intake@southernstatesrescuedrottweilers.org so we can review. Any other information you have in order to help us make an informed decision would be appreciated.

Southern States Rescued Rottweilers, Inc. cannot accept abandoned Rottweilers from outside our coverage area .
We receive an overwhelming number of requests and do our best to help those that we can but are not able to help every Rottweiler sent to us. We may not respond to all requests but will respond to those transfer requests that we are able to help on.
