Hi!  My name is Bridget ( I was most likely named after famous movie star, Bridget Bardot :))  I am a Texan born and bred, but just recently became a Floridian after I decided that Texas just wasn't for me.  So I've traded in the life of a cowgirl to now become a beach bunny.  So far I'm loving the beach life!   My days are spent taking long walks in the mornings (3 miles) with my foster dad and foster brother, Mako.  During the day, I'm usually lazing about waiting for a pedicure or for my foster dad to take me swimming or for a boat ride.  My older foster brother, Mako, seems to be able to go swimming whenever he wants.  Jeeeesh....that's what happens when you're the "baby" of the family...everyone treats you like a baby.  In people years I'm almost 7 (though in dog years I'm much younger..less than a year old).  I prefer to go by people years because that means I can do many more things (or at least I'm supposed to)!!!!    I'm quite playful and LOVE to chew on bones and also plastic bottles which my big brother taught me to do!  I try to play with our annoying cat, Linus, but he thinks I'm a baby and won't play with "babies."   Cats think they're so much better than dogs.  Such attitudes!   I am very playful and they say that it's because I'm still a baby!  There's that BABY word again!

As much as I LOVE my foster home, I'm looking for my FOREVER home!  So if you'd like a former cowgirl turned beach girl named after a movie star who loves to play, go boating, go swimming, take long walks,  and most of all give LOVE and KISSES, I am THE GIRL FOR YOU! !!!!

**PLEASE NOTE:   Young puppies are always lovable, but they require a lot of attention, effort, exercise, good nutrition, and proper training to develop into lovable and socialized adults.  Please do not apply to adopt a puppy unless you are 100% committed.
