Thor came to us from Virginia. He is approximately one to two years of age. We think closer to one, as he has a lot of puppy mannerisms in him. Thor LOVES to play! He loves balls and stuffed animals. He does not want to give up these prized possessions so we are working with him on his release.  Although he loves to play, he calms down quickly, and when need be, and is content to just curl up at your feet or cuddle. He loves Rotti-butt scratches and will lean into you. He has shown no resource guarding when it comes to food and he takes treats very gently. He walks well on leash but will pull a little when he is interested in something. He is crate trained and housebroken. He actually puts himself in his crate at night. He knows sit and down, although not consistent. He is a VERY smart boy and with more training I am confident that he will master all of his commands.

He has been fine around other dogs when out and about. He is currently living with a cat and is curious and wants to play with him but looses interest quickly. Having said that, we always like to remind potential adopters that even though a dog has lived with cats amiably, you still need to use caution and introduce them very slowly as new environments/different cats can cause different reactions.

He is currently living with a 12 year old girl and does well with her. He can get rambunctious so I would use caution with smaller children only because he does not know his own size.

Thor is not yet neutered, so that will happen very soon. (Psssst.....don't tell him!)

Thor is going to make someone a wonderful dog. He just needs someone to be patient with him and show him unconditional love. I promise that he will return it tenfold!
